Privacy Policy for RAI Calendar

RAI Calendar is operated by Berke Karacan, who acts as the data controller. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@raicalendar.com.

We collect basic account information, such as your email address, when you register. We also keep evidence of legal document acceptance, including the document version, action, time, presented language, source, and IP address.

To provide our core service, RAI Calendar requests access to your Google Calendar and uses Google data for the sync features you enable. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google data or use it for advertising. When you use a shared RAI calendar, invited collaborators can access the shared calendar data allowed by their permissions.

Data Protection Mechanisms: Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and access is scoped with role-based controls. Private calendar data is limited to your account; invited collaborators can access data in calendars you share with them, according to their permissions.

Disconnecting Google Calendar removes the stored Google credentials and stops further sync. RAI also asks Google to revoke the authorization; if Google does not confirm revocation, remove RAI Calendar from your Google Account permissions. Events already imported into RAI remain in your RAI calendar until you delete them or delete your RAI account. Account deletion removes the account's calendar data from active application databases, subject to the legal acceptance record retention described below.

If you connect Slack under Settings → Integrations, RAI stores workspace and bot credentials needed to post reminders or invites to the channel you choose and to handle /rai commands and @RAI mentions on your behalf. We use Slack only for those features. We do not sell Slack data or use it for advertising.

You can disconnect Slack at any time in Settings → Integrations. Disconnecting removes the stored install for your account.

If you connect Notion under Settings → Integrations, RAI stores an OAuth access token, the database identifiers you select, and page link mappings so we can create, update, and soft-delete Notion pages for events, notes, or todos you choose to sync. When auto-pull is enabled, RAI also imports Notion page changes into your account. We do not sell Notion data or use it for advertising.

Deleted synced items are soft-deleted in RAI (retained with a deleted timestamp) and archived in Notion, so late updates do not recreate orphan rows. You can disconnect Notion at any time in Settings → Integrations. Disconnecting removes the stored connection for your account and stops further sync.

If you connect Linear under Settings → Integrations, RAI stores OAuth access and refresh tokens, the team and optional projects you select, cached workflow state identifiers, and issue link mappings so we can create, update, and cancel Linear issues for events, notes, or todos you choose to sync. When auto-pull is enabled, RAI also imports Linear issue changes into your account. We do not sell Linear data or use it for advertising.

Deleted synced items are soft-deleted in RAI and mapped to Linear’s Canceled state where possible. Events imported from Linear are stored as all-day events because Linear due dates do not include a time of day. You can disconnect Linear at any time in Settings → Integrations. Disconnecting removes the stored connection for your account and stops further sync.

If you connect Zoom under Settings → Integrations and choose Zoom as your default video provider, RAI stores OAuth access and refresh tokens plus your Zoom user id and email so we can create Zoom meetings for online calendar events you create in RAI. Meeting join URLs and Zoom meeting ids may be stored on those events and, when Google Calendar is connected, written into the matching Google event location or description so guests can join. We use Zoom only for that video-meeting feature. We do not sell Zoom data or use it for advertising.

You can disconnect Zoom at any time in Settings → Integrations. Disconnecting removes the stored Zoom connection for your account and stops creating new Zoom meetings from RAI. Existing meeting links already saved on events are not automatically deleted from Zoom.

Voice recognition uses the browser or platform's default SpeechRecognition service. Depending on that service, audio may be processed on your device or by the browser/platform provider. RAI receives the resulting transcript and does not itself upload or store raw microphone recordings.

When an AI feature runs, RAI sends your request and relevant context to OpenRouter for routing to a model provider. Depending on the feature, context can include event titles and times, contact names and details, recent note titles, or open to-do text. RAI requests routing only to providers marked by OpenRouter as not collecting request data for training or non-transient storage. This routing setting does not control the browser/platform speech-recognition service.

Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for purchases made through its checkout and handles checkout, payment processing, applicable taxes, refunds, and chargebacks. Payment and subscription actions, including cancellation and refund requests, are handled through Lemon Squeezy. The terms and options shown by Lemon Squeezy at checkout and in its customer portal apply to each purchase. RAI Calendar does not store your full payment-card details.

When you delete your account, the legal acceptance record is retained for 10 years after deletion and then purged. It records the accepted or acknowledged document version, action, time, presented language, source, and IP address. The account identifier is replaced with a SHA-256 hash; the IP address remains part of this retained record.

Our service is not intended for anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.
